Checks made on staff
The nursery has a robust policy and procedure for the recruitment of staff. Prior to employment two references are requested and confirmed by the manager. We ensure that all staff have an enhanced DBS check which is applied for by the nursery. Any gaps in past employment must be investigated. As an added measure of security, staff are never left alone with children and mobile phones and camera phones are not permitted in the children’s rooms. If you would like more information, please see our employment and safeguarding policies.
